Play, fun, laughter… often overlooked in terms of priority for our lives in the midst of struggle, busyness, trauma. One of the first things that bottoms out when people are dysregulated or depressed is their sense of humour. They aren’t as funny, they don’t think anyone else is either. And for some, play or even the attitude of playfulness has been forgotten or lost along the way often without us even noticing.
I talk about why play, fun, and laughter is so important for our overall health and wellbeing – short term and long term in this video. And in it, I challenge you with specific ways to make this a priority in your life today.
