Often clients ask if I take credit cards. It allows them to charge their sessions and then pay them off when they receive their insurance reimbursement. Up until now I have only accepted payment via cash, cheque or e-transfer. Thanks to Square, which operates the same as any terminal you would pay for goods or services through with your debit or credit card, I am able to now accept credit card payments at any location. This provides convenience for many of my clients who, like me, rarely carry cash or cheques anymore. A receipt can be texted or emailed to you instantly as well.
